Diane Provencher Obituary

Diane L. Provencher, 63, of Plymouth, passed away on Friday morning, August 5, 2016 at the Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center with her family beside her. Diane was born on August 16, 1952 in Milwaukee a daughter to William and Dorothy (Zolna) Gradt. She grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Pulaski High School. In 1972 she was united in marriage to Leonard Woida. As her children entered school she moved to Plymouth where on April 8, 1982 she married her best friend and soul mate, Mark Provencher, Sr. He preceded her in death on October 12, 2011. Diane was a housekeeper at the Aurora Surgery Center in Plymouth. Diane greatly enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved being a mother so much that she seemed to be "everyones mom." She also enjoyed camping, shopping and cribbage Diane is survived by her six children and 19 grandchildren Chad (Melissa) Wettstein, Taylor, Micaela, Seth and Logan of Waukegan, IL, Sarah (Dennis) Macheel, Jerod, Nevin, Dennis III and Summer of Plymouth, Mark (Amber) Provencher Jr., Alexis, Cody and Marcus of Plymouth, and Leah (Tony) Backhaus, Aidan, Brooklin, Maxwell and Enzo of Plymouth, Michelle Provencher of Plymouth and a daughter-in-law, Carmen Provencher, Joseph, Bryce Ty and Trevor of Cedar Rapids, IA She is also survived by her mother, Dorothy Gradt of Sheboygan Falls, two sisters, Gail (Tom) Jens of Kiel and Debra (Robert Herberg) Gradt of Sheboygan Falls and her beloved dog, Keeper. Other relatives and friends also survive. Along with her husband, Mark she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Provencher, a granddaughter, Angel, her father William Gradt and her beloved dog, Boots. Family and friends may visit at Wittkopp Funeral and Cremation Services, 123 South Street, Plymouth on Tuesday, August 9 from 3 PM until the time of service at 7 PM. Rev. Raeann Beebe will officiate at the service. Cremation will follow with burial to be in Woodlawn Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Dianes family would like to extend their appreciation and express their deep gratitude to the staff of Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center Intensive Care Unit for their care and compassion.
