Elsie Rose Rube Koch

Elsie R. Koch, a kind and loving mother, of Cascade, passed away on Tuesday evening, February 27, 2018 at St. Nicholas Hospital at the age of 91.Elsie was born on March 22, 1926 in Lincoln, Nebraska, a daughter to the late Conrad and Elizabeth (Schiling) Rube. She attended schools in Nebraska. On January 22, 1949 she was united in marriage to Burke R. Koch in Milwaukee. They resided in the Big Bend area until moving to the Cascade area in 1963. Burke preceded her in death on November 19, 1993. Elsie had been employed at Clev Pak.Elsie is survived by her two sons, Gene R. Koch of Cascade and Charles H. Koch of Waukesha; a grandson, Jeff (Kasey) Queen, Jr. of Waldo; a granddaughter, Michelle Queen of Las Vegas: her great grandchildren and a son-in-law, Jeff Queen of Milwaukee. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Queen and nine brothers and sisters.A time of Gathering and Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, March 7, at Wittkopp Funeral and Cremation Services, 123 South St. Plymouth from 11 AM until 2 PM. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.Elsies family would like to extend their grateful appreciation to her caregivers, Joyce Watson and Mary Kay Stein. Their kindness will be remembered.
