Florence Carol Feldmann Harvey

Florence F. Harvey, age 99 of Cedar Landing Elkhart Lake, died Sunday, April 9, 2017 under Hospice Care and the wonderful staff at Cedar Bay. Florence was born on February 23, 1918 to Milton and Helen (Nix) Feldmann. Florence married Alton Harvey on April 27, 1946. They lived in Plymouth for six years then moved to Glenbeulah in 1952. Alton preceded her in death on December 3, 1997. Florence worked at the A&P, Kraft & Sartori Cheese factory for many years. She was a natural gardener and had an unbelievable green thumb when it came to her flowers and garden. She also loved to sew, bake, and fish. Florence is survived by two brothers, Marvin Feldmann and Palmer (Ruby) Feldmann. In addition to her parents and husband, Florence was preceded in death by a sister, Verona Sander; a brother, Harley Feldmann; two sisters-in-law, Myrtle Feldmann and Vernita Feldmann; and a brother-in-law, Willard Sander. She was a wonderful aunt to her 16 nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Funeral services for Florence will be held 3 PM, Thursday, April 13, at Wittkopp Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Deborah Tyler officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may gather at Wittkopp Funeral and Cremation Services, 123 South Street, Plymouth on Thursday from 1 PM until the time of the service at 3 PM. The family would like to personally thank Dr. George Schroeder, Cedar Bay Assisted Living, and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the excellent care that was given to Florence. A memorial fund has been established in Florences name.
