Theodore “Ted” Kolvenbach, 80, of the town of Lyndon passed away on Tuesday morning, January 30, 2018 at St. Nicholas Hospital.
Ted was born in Germantown on April 14, 1937 to the late George and Genevieve (Stephan) Kolvenbach. He attended Germantown schools and St. Boniface School, graduating from Menomonee Falls High School in 1954. Throughout his life Ted was a meat cutter retiring from Kohl’s in April of 1999. He moved to the Town of Lyndon in 2001 and greatly enjoyed the Sheboygan County area. In 2016 he moved to the Waterford in Plymouth where he resided until his death. Ted was an avid reader and a collector of a variety of items. He enjoyed the company of dogs and cats and a good game of sheepshead. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and Muzzle Loaders.
Ted is survived by his brother Robert “Bobcat” (Judy) Kolvenbach of Plymouth; his nephews, Brent (Joni) Figard of Los Angeles and Kyle Figard of Plymouth; a great nephew and a great niece. He is further survived by his good friends, Bob and Marilyn Gephart of Cascade. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Endert and a good friend, Richard Meilahn.
In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place and no services are to be held.
